Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden (1980 Full Album)

“Iron Maiden” is the eponymous debut studio album by English heavy metal band Iron Maiden. It was released on 14 April 1980 in the United Kingdom by EMI Records and in the United States by Harvest and Capitol Records. The North American version included the song "Sanctuary", previously released in the UK as a non-album single. In 1998, along with the rest of the band's pre-1995 releases, “Iron Maiden” was remastered with "Sanctuary" added in all territories (but 2015 digital releases and all vinyl reissues use original tracklisting around the globe). It is the band's only album to feature guitarist Dennis Stratton.
Although Iron Maiden have since criticised the quality of the album's production, the release was met with critical and commercial success, peaking at number four on the UK Albums Chart and helping the band achieve prominence in mainland Europe.

A fost lansat la 14 aprilie 1980 in Marea Britanie de catre EMI Records si in Statele Unite de catre Harvest si Capitol Records. Versiunea nord Americana include cantecul “Sanctuary”, lansat anterior ca single non-album in Marea Britanie. In 1998, impreuna cu restul de lansari anterioare lui 1995, “Iron Maiden” a fost reimbunatatit cu “Sanctuary” adaugat in toate lansarile din lume in acel moment (dar in relansarea digitala din 2015 si toate relansarile de vinil se foloseste lista de piese originala, peste tot in lume). Este singurul album al trupei ci chitaristul Dennis Stratton.
Desi Iron Maiden a criticat atunci calitatea productiei albumului,acesta a avut success de critica si commercial, atingand locul 4 in clasamentul britanic al albumelor si a ajutat ca trupa sa fie mai proeminta pe continental European.
