Bad Company - Straight Shooter (Full album 1975)

“Straight Shooter” is the second studio album by the English supergroup Bad Company. The album was released in April 2, 1975, a month after the release of the single "Good Lovin' Gone Bad" and four months before the album's second single "Feel Like Makin' Love" (see 1975 in music).
The album reached number 3 in the UK Albums Chart and the US Billboard 200. It was certified gold (500,000 units sold) by the Recording Industry Association of America a month after its release.
Mick Ralphs and Simon Kirke stated on In the Studio (which devoted an episode to Straight Shooter) that the track "Shooting Star" (which they did not write) was lyrically inspired by the drug and alcohol-related deaths of Paul Kossoff, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and Jim Morrison.

Straight Shooter” este al doilea album de studio al supergrupului britanic de rock Bad Company. Albumul a fost lansat pe 2 aprilie 1975, la o luna dupa lansarea single-ului”Good Lovin’ Gone Bad” si cu patru luni inaintea celui de-al doilea single de pe album “Feel Like Makin’ Love”.
Albumul a atins locul 3 in UK Albums Chart si in US Billboard 200. A fost certificat ca album de aur (500.000 unitati vandute) de Asociatia Industriei de Inregistrari din Statele Unite la o luna dupa lansare.
Mick Ralphs si Simon Kirke au declarant la emisiunea “In studio” (care a dedicat un episod albumului) ca piesa “Shootin’ Star” (pe care ei nu au scris-o) a fost liric inspirata de legatura drogurilor si alcoolului cu mortile lui Paul Kossoff, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin si Jim Morrison.
