Rolling Stones - Between the Buttons (Full album 1967)

“Between the Buttons” is the fifth British and seventh American studio album by the English rock band the Rolling Stones, released on 20 January 1967 in the UK and 11 February 1967 in the US as the follow-up to “Aftermath”. It reflected the Stones' brief foray into psychedelia and baroque pop balladry during the era.
The album is among the band's most musically eclectic works; band member Brian Jones all but abandoned his original role as guitarist, playing a wide variety of other instruments including organ, marimba, vibraphone, and kazoo. Keyboard parts were contributed by former member Ian Stewart and frequent collaborator Jack Nitzsche. It would be the last album produced by Andrew Loog Oldham, who had to this point acted as the band's manager and produced all of their albums.
As with prior albums, the American and British versions contained slightly different track listings. In 2012, the American version of “Between the Buttons”, which included "Let's Spend the Night Together" and "Ruby Tuesday", was ranked number 357 on Rolling Stone magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

A reflectat o scurta incursiune a trupei in baladele pop baroce si psihedelice in timpul acelei ere.
Albumul este printre cele mai musicale lucrari eclectic ale trupei;Brian Jones a abandonat rolul sau de chitarist, cantand la o varietate de alte instrumente, incluzand orga, marimba, vibraphone si kazoo. Partile de claviaturi au fost realizaate de fostul membru Ian Stewart si de colaboratorul frecvent Jack Nitzsche. A fost ultimul album produs de catre Andrew Loog Oldham, care la acest moment a actionat ca manager al trupei, el prroducand toate albumele lor.
La fel ca si albumele anterioare, versiunile Americana si britanica au continut  liste de piese usor diferite. In 2012, versiunea americana de la “Between the Buttons”, care includea  “Let’s Spend the Night Together” si “Ruby Tuesday”, a fost clasata pe locul 357 in lista de la revista Rolling Stone a celor mai bune 500 de albume ale tuturor timpurilor.

“Aftermath” is a studio album by English rock band the Rolling Stones. It was released in the United Kingdom on 15 April 1966 by Decca Records and in the United States on 20 June by London Records. The American edition featured a different cover and track listing, substituting the single "Paint It Black" in place of four of the British album's songs. Overall, it is the band's fourth British and sixth American studio release.
The album is considered an artistic breakthrough for the Rolling Stones: it is the first to consist entirely of original Mick Jagger–Keith Richards compositions, while Brian Jones emerged as a talented multi-instrumentalist, playing a variety of instruments not usually associated with rock music, including sitar, Appalachian dulcimer, marimbas and Japanese koto, as well as guitar, harmonica and keyboards. Despite these textures, much of the music is still rooted in Chicago electric blues. It was the first Rolling Stones album to be recorded entirely in the United States, at RCA Studios in California, and their first album released in true stereo. It is also one of the earliest rock albums to eclipse the 50-minute mark, and contains one of the earliest rock songs to pass the 10-minute mark ("Goin' Home").
In August 2002 both editions of “Aftermath” were reissued in a new remastered CD and SACD digipak by ABKCO Records, with the UK version containing an otherwise unavailable stereo mix of "Mother's Little Helper". In the same year the US edition of “Aftermath” was ranked at number 109 on Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time". It has also been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, indicating sales of at least one million copies.

Rolling Stones - Out of Our Heads (Full album 1965)

“Out of Our Heads” is the Rolling Stones' third British studio album and their fourth in the United States. Although they share the same title, the two have significant differences in the track listings. In the US, London Records released it on 30 July 1965 and it became the group's first number one on the Billboard 200 album chart. Decca Records released it in the UK on 24 September 1965, where it reached number two.

“Out of our Heads” este al treilea album de studio britanic al trupei Rolling Stones si al patrulea american. Desi au acelasi titlu, cele doua difera semnificativ in lista de piese. In Statele Unite, London Records l-a lansat pe 30 iulie 1965 si a devenit primul numarul unu al trupei in Bilboard 200 Album Chart. Decca Records l-a lansat in Marea Britanie pe 24 septembrie 1965 si a atins locul doi in top.

“The Rolling Stones No. 2” is the second UK studio album by the Rolling Stones released in 1965 following the massive success of 1964's debut The Rolling Stones. It followed its predecessor's tendency to largely feature R&B covers. However, it does contain three compositions from the still-developing Mick Jagger/Keith Richards songwriting team.

The album is included in Robert Dimery's “1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.”
