Bad Company - Run with the Pack (Full album 1976)

“Run with the Pack” is the third studio album by the English supergroup Bad Company. It was released in January 1976. “Run with The Pack” was recorded in France with The Rolling Stones Mobile Truck in September 1975 with engineer Ron Nevison and mixed in Los Angeles by Eddie Kramer. The album was the only original Bad Company album not to feature artwork from Hipgnosis as it featured artwork from Kosh instead.
The album peaked at No. 4 in the UK Albums Chart and No. 5 on the US Billboard 200. It has sold to date one million copies in the US alone.
Their cover of the Coasters single "Young Blood" peaked at No. 20. The album also spawned rock radio classics "Silver, Blue and Gold", "Live For the Music", and the title track. Although "Silver, Blue & Gold" remains one of the band's most popular compositions, the song was never released as a single.
The album was remastered and re-released in 1994. The vinyl album had a shiny, silver cover, but CD versions feature a simple, light grey cover. The original album cover also came as a gatefold, with a photo of the band inside, sitting around a couch near a television tuned in to a Bugs Bunny cartoon.

“Run with the Pack” este al treilea album de studio al supergrupului englez Bad Company. A fost lansat in ianuarie 1976.
Albumul a atins locul 4 in UK Album Charts si locul 5 in US Billboard 200.

UFO - Lights Out (full album 1977)

“Lights Out” is the sixth studio album by the British rock band UFO, released in May and also on 11 October 1977. All songs are band originals except for "Alone Again Or" which is a cover of a song by the band Love. Reaching #23 on the Billboard Hot 100, it remains the band's highest charting album in the United States.
The album was UFO's first to feature lush string arrangements alongside more complex song structures than their previous albums. Producer Ron Nevison brought in Alan McMillan to handle the string and horn arrangements. The most notable song to feature the orchestral coloring was "Love to Love".
In 1994, a CD comprising this album and “No Heavy Petting” was released by BGO Records. 2008 EMI's remastered edition includes 4 live bonus tracks, recorded at The Roundhouse, London. The album cover erroneously states that these tracks were recorded in 1976, but the correct year is 1977. EMI did correct the writing credits, with Paul Raymond finally being credited for his contributions.
The title track and "Love to Love" were featured in the 1999 movie Detroit Rock City. "Love to Love" was also covered by Djali Zwan for the 2002 movie “Spun and by Europe” for their 2008 live album “Almost Unplugged”.
Kerrang! magazine listed the album at No. 28 among the "100 Greatest Heavy Metal Albums of All Time".
Steve Harris - primary songwriter, founder, leader and bassist of British heavy metal band Iron Maiden - calls "Love to Love" his favourite song.

Kerrang! magazine a listat albumul pe locul 28 la “100 Greatest Heavy Metal Albums of All Time”.
Steve Harris-principalul compozitor, fondatorul, liderul si basistul trupei britanice de heavy metal Iron Maiden numeste “Love to Love” drept cantecul lui favorit.

Queen - Queen II (Full album 1974)

“Queen II” is the second studio album by the British rock band Queen. It was released on 8 March 1974 by EMI Records at midnight in the UK and by Elektra Records in the US. It was recorded at Trident Studios and Langham 1 Studios, London from February to August 1973 with co-producers Roy Thomas Baker and Robin Cable, and engineered by Mike Stone. The album is notable for its combination of a heavy rock sound with an art rock sensibility. It has been called "a pillar of grandiose, assaultive hard rock" by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Queen II is not a concept album but a collection of songs with a loose theme running throughout. The two sides of the original LP were labelled "Side White" and "Side Black" (instead of the conventional sides "A" and "B"), with corresponding photos of the band dressed in white or in black on either side of the record's label face. The white side has songs with a more emotional theme and the black side is almost entirely about fantasy, often with quite dark themes. Mick Rock's album cover photograph was frequently re-used by the band throughout its career, including the music videos for the songs "Bohemian Rhapsody" (1975), and "One Vision" (1985).
Released to an initially mixed critical reception, Queen II remains one of the band's lesser-known albums. Nonetheless, the album has retained a cult following since its release, has garnered praise from other musicians such as Axl Rose, Steve Vai and Billy Corgan, and is significant in being the first album to contain elements of the band's signature sound of multi-layered overdubs, vocal harmonies, and varied musical styles.
