In 1974 imi cumparam primul magnetofon, un Unitra polonez, cu doua piste si mono si astfel incepea aventura mea in lumea muzicii rock. Magia primelor cantece inregistrate atunci nu s-a risipit nici acum, e imprimata adanc in suflet. Primul cantec inregistrat pe magnetofon a fost Black Night si de aceea, poate, Deep Purple este trupa favorita. Am avut noroc sa incep in anii ’70, supranumiti si “cea mai buna decada a muzicii rock”.
Compilatia postata aici reprezinta o parte a muzicii de mele de suflet…va fi urmata de alte compilatii, cu alte cantece ascultate prima data.

In 1974 I was buying my first tape recorder, a polish Unitra with double way track recording, mono and this was the beginning of my rock music adventure. The magic of the first recorded songs is not yet lost, being deeply incarnate in the soul. The first song recorded on the tape recorder was Black Night and that’s why Deep Purple is the favorite band. I was lucky to begin in the 70’s, surnamed “the best decade of rock music”.
The compilation posted here is a part of my soul music…will be followed by other compilations, with other songs first listened.

“Making Movies” is the third studio album by British rock band Dire Straits released on 17 October 1980 by Vertigo Records internationally, Warner Bros. Records in the United States and Mercury Records in Canada. The album includes the single "Romeo and Juliet", which reached #8 on the UK Singles Chart, as well as one of Dire Straits’ best known cuts, “Tunnel of Love”, which was also featured in the 1982 Richard Gere film “An Officer and a Gentleman”.
“Making Movies” reached number one on the album charts in Italy and Norway, number 19 in the United States and number 4 in the United Kingdom. “Making Movies was later certified platinum in the United States and double-platinum in the United Kingdom. It is regarded as one of Dire Straits’ best albums.

“Just One Night” is a 1980 double album by Eric Clapton, recorded live at the Budokan Theatre, Tokyo, Japan, December 1979 when Clapton was touring to support “Backless”, his latest record at that time. The sleeve contains a Japanese painting by Ken Konno. The album reached No. 2 in the U.S. and No. 3 in the UK, and was certified gold by RIAA.

Harry Chapin - Heads & Tales (Full album 1972)

“Heads & Tales” is the first studio album by the american singer/songwriter Harry Chapin, released in 1972. The album contains Chapin's early signature song "Taxi." The album and single both charted successfully for over 6 months, with both the album and single selling over 1 million copies each.
Early LP pressings of “Heads & Tales” featured a die-cut front cover with a square hole in it, allowing the "cover" photo of Chapin (which is actually on an enclosed poster/lyric sheet) to be seen through the hole, creating a three-dimensional effect.
Despite its length of nearly seven minutes, which made the song unwieldy for AM radio airplay, "Taxi" was released uncut as a 45 RPM single, and charted at #24 on the Billboard Hot 100.

In ciuda lungimii sale de aproape 7 minute, care l-a facut greoi de difuzat la radio, “Taxi” a fost lansat fara taieri pe un single si a atins locul 24 in Bilboard Hot 100.

Free- Highway (Full album 1970)

“Highway” is the fourth studio album by English rock band Free. It was recorded extremely quickly in September 1970 following the band's success at the Isle of Wight Festival but with an attitude of relaxation, the band having achieved worldwide success with their previous album Fire and Water (26 June 1970) and the single "All Right Now". It is a low-key and introspective album compared with its predecessors.

“Highway” este al patrulea album de studio al trupei engleze de rock Free. A fost inregistrat extrem de repede in septembrie 1970 ca urmare a succesului trupei la Festivalul de pe Insula Wight, dar cu o atitudine de relaxare, trupa atingand succesul in lume cu albumul anterior “Fire and Water” (26 iunie 1970) si cu single-ul”All Right Now”. Este un album mai putin elaborat si mai introspectiv comparativ cu predecesoarele.

The Beatles - Beatles '65 (Full album 1964)

“Beatles '65” is the Beatles' fifth album issued by Capitol Records, and their seventh American album. It was issued in December 1964. The LP was also issued in Germany on the Odeon label.
“Beatles '65” includes eight of the fourteen songs from “Beatles for Sale”.  It also includes "I'll Be Back" from the UK “A Hard Day's Night” album and both sides of the single "I Feel Fine"/"She's a Woman". These latter two songs were issued in "duophonic" stereo and included added reverb by Capitol Records' executive Dave Dexter, Jr. to cover up the use of the mono mixes sent from England. Two of the three songs written by Carl Perkins and recorded by the Beatles appear on this album. In the United States, “Beatles '65” jumped from number 98 straight to number 1, making the biggest jump to the top position in the history of the Billboard album charts up to that time. It remained at number 1 for nine straight weeks from 9 January 1965.

Gizmodrome - Gizmodrome (Full album 2017)

“Gizmodrome” is the self-titled debut album by supergroup Gizmodrome, released in September 2017. It features Stewart Copeland (The Police, Curved Air), Vittorio Cosma (PFM, Elio e le Storie Tese), Mark King (Level 42), and Adrian Belew (Frank Zappa, David Bowie, King Crimson).
One song, "Amaka Pipa", was previewed on earMUSIC's official channel on 12 June 2017, three months before the release of the album. A videoclip of another song, "Man in the Mountain", featuring the band recording in the studio, was also uploaded to the same channel three days before the release of the album.

Songs

"Stay Ready" and "Strange Things Happen", in much different arrangements, were originally released on Stewart Copeland's alter ego Klark Kent's "Kollected Works", with the latter also appearing on the soundtrack of The Texas Chain Massacre 2. "Zombies in the Mall" derives from a tune Copeland wrote for the soundtrack of Spyro the Dragon called "Louis". A song called "Stark Naked" was performed by Curved Air in 1975, during the time Copeland was part of the band, and released in 1995 on "Live at the BBC" but it bears little to no resemblance to the tune of the same name included in this album. Elio, the frontman of the Italian band Elio e le Storie Tese, in which Cosma is currently a touring member, guest stars as a lead vocalist and lyricist on "Zubatta Cheve".

Eagles - One of These Nights (Full album 1975)

“One of These Nights” is the fourth studio album by the Eagles, released in 1975. The record would become the Eagles' first number one album on Billboard's album chart in July that year, and yielded three Top 10 singles, "One of These Nights", "Lyin' Eyes" and "Take It to the Limit". Its title song is the group's second number one single on the Billboard Hot 100. The album sold four million copies and was nominated for Grammy Album of the Year. A single from the album, "Lyin' Eyes", was also nominated for Record of the Year, and won the Eagles' first Grammy for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.
“One of These Nights” is the last Eagles album to feature guitarist Bernie Leadon, who left the band after the “One Of These Nights” tour and was replaced by Joe Walsh. The seventh track, "Visions", is the only Eagles song on which lead guitarist Don Felder sang the lead vocals, despite his desire to write and sing more songs. The album was the band's commercial breakthrough, transforming them into international superstars. They went on a worldwide tour to promote the album.
