Judas Priest - One for the Road

Where would you be without music

You would be nowhere at all

We wouldn't be here doing this now

If you weren't having a ball

One for the road, sharing our load, show us the way

Can you imagine the silence

Not even the pink or white noise

Well thankfully we've got the license

To have us some fun with the boys

One for the road, sharing our load, show us the way

The melody line's fascinating

The rhythm is something divine

It sends our adrenaline racing

To see you all moving so fine

One for the road, sharing our load, show us the way

One for the road

Iron Maiden - Fear Of The Dark

I am a man who walks alone
And when I'm walking a dark road
At night or strolling through the park

When the light begins to change
I sometimes feel a little strange
A little anxious when it's dark.

Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a constant fear that something's always near
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a phobia that someone's always there

Have you run your fingers down the wall
And have you felt your neck skin crawl
When you're searching for the light?
Sometimes when you're scared to take a look
At the corner of the room
You've sensed that something's watching you.

Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a constant fear that something's always near
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark.
I have a phobia that someone's always there

Have you ever been alone at night
Thought you heard footsteps behind
And turned around and no-one's there?
And as you quicken up your pace
You find it hard to look again
Because you're sure there's someone there

Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a constant fear that something's always near
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark.
I have a phobia that someone's always there

Watching horror films the night before
Debating witches and folklore
The unknown troubles on your mind
Maybe your mind is playing tricks
You sense, and suddenly eyes fix
On dancing shadows from behind.

Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a constant fear that something's always near
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a phobia that someone's always there.

When I'm walking a dark road
I am a man who walks alone

Queen - Queen II (Full album 1974)

“Queen II” is the second studio album by the British rock band Queen. It was released on 8 March 1974 by EMI Records at midnight in the UK and by Elektra Records in the US. It was recorded at Trident Studios and Langham 1 Studios, London from February to August 1973 with co-producers Roy Thomas Baker and Robin Cable, and engineered by Mike Stone. The album is notable for its combination of a heavy rock sound with an art rock sensibility. It has been called "a pillar of grandiose, assaultive hard rock" by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Queen II is not a concept album but a collection of songs with a loose theme running throughout. The two sides of the original LP were labelled "Side White" and "Side Black" (instead of the conventional sides "A" and "B"), with corresponding photos of the band dressed in white or in black on either side of the record's label face. The white side has songs with a more emotional theme and the black side is almost entirely about fantasy, often with quite dark themes. Mick Rock's album cover photograph was frequently re-used by the band throughout its career, including the music videos for the songs "Bohemian Rhapsody" (1975), and "One Vision" (1985).
Released to an initially mixed critical reception, Queen II remains one of the band's lesser-known albums. Nonetheless, the album has retained a cult following since its release, has garnered praise from other musicians such as Axl Rose, Steve Vai and Billy Corgan, and is significant in being the first album to contain elements of the band's signature sound of multi-layered overdubs, vocal harmonies, and varied musical styles.

Metallica - Enter Sandman

"Enter Sandman" is a song by American heavy metal band Metallica. It is the opening track and lead single from their self-titled fifth album, released in 1991. The music was written by Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich. Vocalist and rhythm guitarist Hetfield wrote the lyrics, which deal with the concept of a child's nightmares.
The single reached number 16 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and achieved platinum certification for more than 1,000,000 copies shipped in the United States, spurring sales of over 30 million copies for Metallica and propelling Metallica to worldwide popularity. Acclaimed by critics, the song is featured in all of Metallica's live albums and DVDs released after 1991 and has been played live at award ceremonies and benefit concerts.

Iron Maiden - Powerslave (Full album 1984)

“Powerslave” is the fifth studio album by the English heavy metal band Iron Maiden, released on 3 September 1984 on EMI in Europe and its sister label Capitol Records in North America. It was re-released by Sanctuary/Columbia Records in the United States in 2002.
The album's cover artwork is notable for its Ancient Egypt theme. That theme, taken from the title track, was carried over to the album's supporting tour, the World Slavery Tour. This began in Warsaw, Poland on 9 August 1984; it is widely regarded as being the band's longest and most arduous tour to date, and led to the live album “Live After Death”.
The release contains a musical re-telling of Samuel Taylor Coleridge's “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner”, the lyrics of which include some lines from the poem. At 13 minutes and 45 seconds in length, it was Iron Maiden's longest song for over 30 years until it was surpassed by the 18-minute "Empire of the Clouds" from the 2015 album “The Book of Souls”.
“Powerslave” is notable as the band's first album to feature the same personnel as their previous studio release. This lineup would remain intact for two further studio releases. Also, it is their last album to date to feature an instrumental piece.
"2 Minutes to Midnight" and "Aces High" were released as singles.

A fost re-relansat de Sanctuary/Columbia Records in Statele Unite in 2002.
Lansarea contine o repovestire muzicala a poemului “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner” al lui Samuel Taylor Colleridge, versurile cantecului continand si cateva din versurile poemului.

Judas Priest - Killing Machine (Full album 1978)

“Killing Machine” is the fifth studio album by English heavy metal band Judas Priest, released on 9 October 1978 by Columbia Records. The album pushed the band towards a more commercial style while still featuring the dark lyrical themes of their previous albums. At about the same time, the band members adopted their now-famous "leather-and-studs" fashion image, inspired by Rob Halford's interest in gay leather culture. It is the band's last studio album to feature drummer Les Binks. In the United States, it was released with a different track listing as “Hell Bent for Leather” due to controversy over the Cleveland Elementary School shooting.

Nazareth - Hair of the Dog (Full album 1975)

“Hair of the Dog” is the sixth studio album by the Scottish hard rock band Nazareth, released in 1975. The album was recorded at Escape Studios, Kent, with additional recording and mixing at AIR Studios, London, and is the group’s best known and highest selling release, with over two million copies sold worldwide.
After three albums with Deep Purple's Roger Glover producing, Manny Charlton stepped into that position, one he filled for several subsequent albums.
It was Nazareth's first big hit album (aside from the minor success of “Razamanaz”), including classics such as the title track, a version of The Everly Brothers' "Love Hurts" (on the US version, but not the Canadian/European, it replaced the original "Guilty"), "Beggars Day" and "Please Don't Judas Me".
According to Nazareth frontman Dan McCafferty, the track on “Hair of the Dog” in which a dishonest young woman finally meets her match provided the original album title with its recognizable chorus of “now you’re messing with a… a son of a bitch! (an “heir of the dog,”)”. Nazareth’s record label, wasn’t about to let them name the project “Son of a Bitch”. Thus, “Hair of the Dog” was selected as a compromise, putting the finishing touches on a career-defining release. The album title is often considered to be a shortened form of the phrase describing a folk hangover cure, "the hair of the dog that bit you".
The album was first reissued on CD in 1990. There are also remastered editions released since 1997 with different sets of bonus tracks.

“Hair of the Dog” este al saselea album de studio al trupei scotiene de hard rock Nazareth, lansat in 1975. Albumul a fost inregistrat la Escape Studios in Kent, cu o inregistrare suplimentara si mixaj la AIR Studios in Londra si este cea mai bine cunoscuta si vanduta lansare a grupului, cu peste 2 milioane de copii vandute in lumea intreaga,
Dupa trei albume produse cu fostul membru Deep Purple Roger Glover, Manny Charlton a preluat aceasta pozitie, el producand si cateva albume ulterioare. Day” si “Please Don’t Judas Me”.
Conform celor spuse de vocalistul Dan McCafferty, piesa “Hair of the Dog”, in care o tanara femeie dezonorabila isi intalneste in sfarsit perechea, a dat titlul original al albumului, cu binecunoscutul cor la “now you’re messing with a …son of a bitch!”
