TEN YEARS AFTER - Ten Years After (Full Album 1967)

“Ten Years After” is the debut album by the English blues rock band Ten Years After. It was one of the first blues rock albums released by British musicians. The album is also low on original material in comparison to the band's later works which were, in most cases, entirely composed of Alvin Lee's songs.
It features "Spoonful", a Howlin' Wolf song (written for him by Willie Dixon) that the British blues rock group Cream covered as well (on their albums “Fresh Cream” and “Wheels of Fire”).

“Ten Years After” este albumul de debut al trupei engleze de blues rock Ten Years After.

Bad Company - Run with the Pack (Full album 1976)

“Run with the Pack” is the third studio album by the English supergroup Bad Company. It was released in January 1976. “Run with The Pack” was recorded in France with The Rolling Stones Mobile Truck in September 1975 with engineer Ron Nevison and mixed in Los Angeles by Eddie Kramer. The album was the only original Bad Company album not to feature artwork from Hipgnosis as it featured artwork from Kosh instead.
The album peaked at No. 4 in the UK Albums Chart and No. 5 on the US Billboard 200. It has sold to date one million copies in the US alone.
Their cover of the Coasters single "Young Blood" peaked at No. 20. The album also spawned rock radio classics "Silver, Blue and Gold", "Live For the Music", and the title track. Although "Silver, Blue & Gold" remains one of the band's most popular compositions, the song was never released as a single.
The album was remastered and re-released in 1994. The vinyl album had a shiny, silver cover, but CD versions feature a simple, light grey cover. The original album cover also came as a gatefold, with a photo of the band inside, sitting around a couch near a television tuned in to a Bugs Bunny cartoon.

“Run with the Pack” este al treilea album de studio al supergrupului englez Bad Company. A fost lansat in ianuarie 1976.
Albumul a atins locul 4 in UK Album Charts si locul 5 in US Billboard 200.

The Allman Brothers Band - The Allman Brothers Band (Full album 1969)

“The Allman Brothers Band” is the debut studio album by American rock band the Allman Brothers Band. It was released in the United States by Atco Records and Capricorn Records on November 4, 1969 and produced by Adrian Barber. Formed in 1969, the Allman Brothers Band came together following various musical pursuits by each individual member. Following session work, Duane Allman moved to Jacksonville, Florida where he led large jam sessions with his new band, one he had envisioned as having two guitarists and two drummers. After rounding out the lineup with the addition of his brother, Gregg Allman, the band moved to Macon, Georgia, where they were to be one of the premiere acts on Capricorn.
The album was recorded and mixed in two weeks at Atlantic Studios in New York City. Much of its material was premiered live over the preceding months and combines blues, jazz and country music to varying degrees. It includes re-workings of "Trouble No More" and "Don't Want You No More," as well as notable originals such as "Dreams", which highlighted the band's jazz influence, and "Whipping Post", which became a crowd favorite. Although the group was arranged to work with producer Tom Dowd (whose credits included Cream and John Coltrane), he was unavailable, and they instead recorded with house engineer Adrian Barber. The album's artwork was photographed in Macon and surrounding areas.
The record initially received a poor commercial response, charting in the lower levels of Billboard's Top 200 Pop Albums chart. Despite this, the album received critical acclaim from publications such as Rolling Stone, who called it "subtle, and honest, and moving." Following the band's increased fame in the early 1970s, this album and its follow-up, “Idlewild South” (1970), were repackaged into the compilation album “Beginnings”. Owing to the band's dislike of Barber's original mix, their debut album was remixed by Tom Dowd. In 1973, “Beginnings” was certified gold for sales of 500,000 copies, according to the Recording Industry Association of America.
In 2016 a Deluxe version of the album was released by Mercury Records that contained the "Original Stereo Mix by Adrian Barber" from 1969 and the “Beginnings” Stereo Mix by Tom Dowd from 1973.

Formata in 1969, Allman Brothers Band a adus impreuna membri cu diverse orientari musicale.
Albumul a fost inregistrat si aranjat in doua saptamani in studiourile Atlantic din New York. Cea mai mare parte a materialului a fost in premiera live in lunile premergatoare si combina blues, jazz si muzica country in diverse grade. Include "Trouble No More" si "Don't Want You No More", refacute, precum si originalele notabile ca “Dreams”, care evidentiaza influentele jazz ale trupei si “Whipping Post”, care a devenit o favorite a publicului. Fotografiile albumului au fost facute in Macon si in imprejurimi.
Inregistrarea a primit initial un slab raspuns commercial, intrand in clasamentul Billboard's Top 200 Pop Albums chart in partea inferioara.

Fleetwood Mac - Then Play On (Full album 1969)

“Then Play On” is the third studio album by British blues rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on 19 September 1969. It was the first of their original albums to feature Danny Kirwan and the last with Peter Green. Jeremy Spencer did not feature on the album apart from "a couple of piano things" (according to Mick Fleetwood in Q magazine in 1990). The album, appearing after the group's sudden success in the pop charts, offered a broader stylistic range than the classic blues of the group's first two albums. The album went on to reach #6 in the UK, subsequently becoming the band's fourth Top 20 hit in a row, as well as their third album to reach the Top 10. The title is taken from the opening line of William Shakespeare's play Twelfth Night — "If music be the food of love, play on".
This was the band's first release with Warner/Reprise after being lured away from Blue Horizon and a one-off with Immediate Records. All subsequent Fleetwood Mac albums have been released on Warner. The album, which at its original UK release had an unusually long running time, has been released with four different song line-ups. The original CD compiled all songs from the two US LP versions, both of which omitted tracks from the original UK version. In August 2013, a remastered edition of the album was reissued on vinyl and CD, restoring its original 1969 UK track listing. This version reached No. 112 on the UK Albums chart.

Aceasta versiune a atins locul 12 in clasamentul britanic al albumelor.

Fleetwood Mac - Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac (1968-Full Album)

“Fleetwood Mac”, also known as “Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac”, is the debut studio album by British blues rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on 24 February 1968. The album is a mixture of blues covers and originals penned by guitarists Peter Green and Jeremy Spencer, who also share the vocal duties. It is the only album by the band not to feature keyboardist/vocalist Christine McVie in any capacity.
The release of the album brought the band overnight success; in the UK, the album reached No. 4 and stayed on the charts 37 weeks, despite the lack of a hit single. The album barely made the charts in the US, reaching No. 198. Even though the album has sold over a million copies in the UK, it has never received a certification there. As of June 2015, the album has sold over 150,000 copies in the US.
An expanded version of this album was included in the box set “The Complete Blue Horizon Sessions”

Albumul de-abia  a intrat in clasamentele americane, unde a atins doar locul 198.
O versiune extinsa a acestui album a fost inclusa in caseta set “The Complete Blue Horizon Sessions”.

SAVOY BROWN - GETTING TO THE POINT (FULL ALBUM 1968)

“Getting to the Point” is the second studio album by the British blues rock band Savoy Brown. It marks the debut of a vastly different lineup, still led by Kim Simmonds but fronted by new vocalist Chris Youlden.
It was released by Decca in 1968 with catalog number SKL 4935 and finds the group taking on more of the songwriting load, as opposed to their debut, which consisted mostly of covers. One of the covers is "You Need Love" by Willie Dixon, which served as a blueprint for "Whole Lotta Love" by Led Zeppelin. Deram released the cd with three bonus tracks in 1990 with catalog number 820 922-2.

Taste - On the Boards (Full album 1970)

“On the Boards” is the second album by Irish rock band Taste, released in 1970. It is their final studio album and the release that brought Rory Gallagher to prominence, reaching number 18 on the UK album chart. Reviewers have praised its variety and the precision of its ensemble playing, and noted the jazz inflections of Gallagher's guitar and his unaffected vocals. Lester Bangs dubbed it "impressive... progressive blues".

The J Geils Band - The J Geils Band (Full album 1970)

“The J. Geils Band” is the self-titled debut studio album by American rock band The J. Geils Band. The album was released on November 16, 1970, by Atlantic Records.
The band had once been known as the J. Geils Blues Band, but its debut album revealed the stylistic range it had long developed. In an effusive contemporary review, a journalist for rock magazine Creem praised the diversity and wrote: "It could be called blues, it could be called R&B, it could be called rock and roll; I prefer to call it good energetic music and leave it at that. They spent their formative years absorbing the best of all these musics and the sound they have distilled is truly their own."

Free- Highway (Full album 1970)

“Highway” is the fourth studio album by English rock band Free. It was recorded extremely quickly in September 1970 following the band's success at the Isle of Wight Festival but with an attitude of relaxation, the band having achieved worldwide success with their previous album Fire and Water (26 June 1970) and the single "All Right Now". It is a low-key and introspective album compared with its predecessors.

Ten Years After - Cricklewood Green (Full album 1970)

“Cricklewood Green” is the fourth studio album by blues rock band Ten Years After, released in 1970.
Allmusic gave “Cricklewood Green” a firmly positive retrospective review, praising each individual track and summarizing that "the band and engineer Andy Johns mix studio tricks and sound effects, blues-based song structures, a driving rhythm section, and Alvin Lee's signature lightning-fast guitar licks into a unified album that flows nicely from start to finish."
