“Killers” is the second studio album by English heavy
metal band Iron Maiden. It was first released on 2 February 1981 in the United
Kingdom by EMI Records and on 6 June in the United States by Harvest and
Capitol Records. The album was their first with guitarist Adrian Smith, and
their last with vocalist Paul Di'Anno, who was fired after problems with his
stage performance arose due to his alcohol and cocaine use. “Killers” was also
the first Iron Maiden album recorded with producer Martin Birch, who went on to
produce their next eight albums until “Fear of the Dark” (1992).

engleze de heavy metal Iron Maiden. A fost lansat mai intai la 2 februarie 1981
in Marea Britanie de catre EMI Records si apoi, la 6 iunie in Statele Unite, de
catre Haarvest si Capitol Records. Albumul a fost primul cu chitaristul Adrian
Smith si ultimul cu vocalistul Paul Di’Anno, care a fost conceddiat dupa
problemele sale cu performantele scenice slabe, datorate cconssumului de alcool
si cocaine. “Killers” a fost de asemenea primul album facut cu producatorul
Martin Birch, care va produce si urmatoarele lor opt albume, pana ala “Fear of
the Dark” in 1992.
