West, Bruce & Laing - Why Dontcha (Full album 1972)

“Why Dontcha” is the first studio album by power trio West, Bruce and Laing.
The album features "The Doctor", which received heavy FM radio airplay upon the album's release and became a signature song in live performance for the band. Other noteworthy tracks include "Out into the Fields", which Jack Bruce continued to perform in concert following West, Bruce and Laing's breakup (and which he re-recorded for his 2001 album “Shadows in the Air”), and "Love is Worth the Blues", a song loosely based on the chords and structure of The Rolling Stones' "Play with Fire".
“Why Dontcha” was West, Bruce and Laing's most successful album, reaching No. 26 on the Billboard U.S. album chart.

“Why Dontcha” este primul album de studio al trio-ului de putere West, Bruce and Laing. Albumul prezinta “The Doctor”, care a fost difuzat la heavy FM radio inainte de lansarea albumului si a devenit un cantec semnatura in performantele pe viu ale trupei.  Alte piese notabile sunt “Out into the Fields”, pe care Jack Bruce a continuat s-o cante in concert si dupa destramarea trio-ului (si pe care a re-reinregistrat-o pentru albumul sau din 2001 “Shadows in the Air”) si “Love Is Worth the Blues”, un cantec bazat larg pe corzi si structura de la “Play with Fire” a lui Rolling Stones.
“Why Dontcha” a fost albumul cel mai de succes al lui West, Bruce and Laing, atingand locul 26 in clasamentul albumelor de la Billboard.
